MICOMM entered the Queensland Multi Media Awards for the first time this year and were excited to take home the Award for Best Logo Design for the Blackwater International Coal Centre, and be listed as finalists for the ‘Stay Alert Stay Alive’ DVD and Dawson Mine media package. Gene Kennedy represented MICOMM at the awards in Cairns in October.

MICOMM also received recognition in the Business and Industry section of the 2007 Road Safety Awards with commendation for the ‘Stay Alert Stay Alive’ DVD. Road safety is a subject high on the agenda at MICOMM as our people travel many thousands of kilometres each year visiting our clients at minesites throughout Australia.
