Last month, MICOMM's workload was inadvertently affected by the weather when Cyclone Ului struck Queensland shores on the 21 March. Our filming and photography trips were put on hold until the bad weather subsided and unfortunately, some of our clients are still out of action after suffering damage to equipment and buildings. |

We complain when it doesn't rain-but sometimes we're not happy when it does rain!! This year our production team has been busy filming around the Central Queensland region- when we can. Our schedule has been changed quite a bit by the recent rainfall, but on the up side our videos and photography are looking wonderfully green! |
|
Our client services team has had a productive February, travelling around the countryside to centres like Blackwater, Mackay, Biloela and Emerald to name a few. So far this month we have plans of visiting Mackay, Blackwater, Brisbane and Newcastle to meet with clients. If you're in any of these areas or would like us to come and visit you, please feel free to give us a call so we can book you into our schedule. |

MICOMM is currently seeing an increased interest into our E-learning programs for training and inductions as clients realise the benefits that this sort of training can deliver. We are working on a range of different programs including site SOPs, a wharf area induction, a visitor induction for an underground mine, and a geotechnical training program. We are pleasantly surprised at the response to our revamped e-learning capabilities. We are currently working on some projects that use e-learning in innovative ways. Our clients have realised it isn't just for inductions-it's an efficient and cost-effective way to convey important information to time-poor managers also!
