MICOMM is the trading name for Mining & Industry Communications (Aust) Pty Ltd (ABN: 98 104 003 778).

MICOMM is a communication and public relations company. We produce many forms of media including but not limited to; websites, videography, photography, graphic design, 2D and 3D animation, signage, native apps, eLearning and press releases.

The Privacy Act and Apps

The Privacy Act regulates the way in which individuals’ personal information is handled. MICOMM takes its responsibility of privacy protection seriously. We will not disclose any information sent to us unless required by law.

The general use of the app does not require the disclosure of your personal information. There are permissions with regard to functionality of the app that a user may give. These are requested and approved as required by the individual and are only used to access functions within the app. No personal information data is stored within the app.

There are options to send information to the app Admin from within your app. These are also user initiated. These may include but are not limited to photos, email reply, SMS reply or the completion of in app eForms. These are processed as per the user initiated request. A copy of an eForm submission is held in the secure app admin console and once deleted from here is not kept as a backup.

Controlling your personal information

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your written permission or are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties which we think you may find interesting if you tell us that you wish this to happen.
